Can I receive a refund?

Donation refunds are permissible under certain circumstances. To request a refund, please connect with our support team directly or with your fundraiser leader. Our team will be happy to assist you.

How do I assign my donation to a participant?

If you have made a donation and have forgotten to assign it to a particular participant, please reach out to our support team and we can help allocate the donation to the right place.

Am I required to leave a tip?

At checkout you’ll notice a place to leave an optional tip.

You have the option to leave a tip in addition to your donation at checkout. We’re able to provide the platform free to schools based on our donor tips, but it is not required.

How do I make my donation anonymous?

Follow the donation flow: pick the amount you want to donate and tip, fill in your credit card information and click 'Complete donation'.

After you complete your donation you will get to a screen to 'Show your support', below the optional message check the 'Make my donation anonymous' box.

 Did my donation process?

You will receive an email with a 'Thank you' note and the receipt for your donation right after the payment is processed.


Once you complete your donation, you will be brought to a screen to share a message (optional) to the campaign page and share your donation with friends and family on social media. Once that is done you will be taken to 'Thank you!' screen and you will receive the email.


If you did not receive a receipt, please contact support via chat or email at support@schoolfundr.org.

Is my donation tax deductible?

For your donation to be tax deductible the organization you are donating to needs to be a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.


Once you make a donation through Schoolfundr to an organization, you will receive an email receipt for your donation. If the organization included their Tax ID number in their fundraiser, your receipt will have their Tax ID number.

If you don't see the Tax ID number, please check with the organization and your tax advisor to understand if your donation is tax-deductible.

What credit cards do you accept for my donation?

You can make your donation using any of the major credit cards Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

How do donations work on Schoolfundr?

No need for a computer, with Schoolfundr you can make your donations from your phone, from anywhere, with only a few taps. It has never been so easy to donate.


Once the donation is completed, Schoolfundr will automatically send a 'thank you' note and receipt to the donor.


If you are a 501c3 nonprofit organization, you can include your organization's Tax ID in the receipt so that donors can claim their donation as tax deductible.


As the fundraiser owner, you can access your Schoolfundr fundraiser dashboard, and track in real-time the donations you receive and how much each of your participants raises.

Am I required to leave a tip?

You have the option to leave a tip in addition to your donation at checkout. We provide the service for free based on tips, but leaving a tip is not required.

Is my credit card information secure?

We take your data privacy and security seriously.


Our payment processor, Stripe, is industry-leading and utilizes advanced encryption algorithms, and adheres rigorously to PCI DSS compliance standards. Read more about our Privacy Policy.
