This Privacy Policy describes how Hometown Ticketing, Inc. and our affiliates (“Hometown”) treat your personal information on the websites and apps (“Sites”) where it appears, as well as any other place where you interact with us (collectively with the Sites, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy does not include your relationship with us as an employee.

DATA PRIVACY COMMITMENT
At Hometown, safeguarding your privacy and data security is our top priority. We never sell any user data - whether from students, parents, donors, or others - to external platforms under any circumstances. We take the security of personal data seriously. NO SALE OF DATA
Simply stated, we do not sell personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
Personal Information. We collect information from you in various ways when you use our Sites and Services. We
collect the information below:

  • Contact information. We collect your name and mailing address. We also collect your phone number and email address.
  • Fundraiser information. We may collect Personally Identifiable Information, which includes information that Site visitors submit to us that identifies or relates to a specific individual, including registration information submitted by Fundraisers (such as name, email and postal address, telephone number, organization name, campaign information).
  • Account information. We collect your username and password. We collect your email.
  • Payment information. We collect payment information if you make a purchase or donation. This includes credit or debit card numbers and security codes. This includes shipping and billing information. Note, however, that we do not store your payment information and it is processed by a third party payment processor.
  • Information you submit. We collect the content of your communications. This includes as part of our customer support function.
  • Audio / Visual information. We may collect audio and visual information when you use our social media graphics solutions or share with us.
  • Job applicant information. We collect information about your education and work history when you apply for a job with us. We collect information about your skills and qualifications. We may ask about your ability to perform a position.
  • Geolocation information. We collect geolocation data when you use our Services.
  • Social media information. We may collect information about you from social media. This includes when you follow us or share our content. This also includes when you post comments. Such content may be publicly accessible. The information we collect depends on your privacy settings with the social network.
  • Site and device information. We collect your IP address, MAC address, browser type, operating system, device-identifying information, type of computer, and type of Web browser software. We collect information about the specific webpages you visit during your connection, and the domain name from which you accessed the Sites and Services.
    We collect information about your browsing behavior, such as the date and time you visit the Sites and the areas or pages of the Sites that you visit. We collect information about the amount of time you spend viewing our Sites and the number of times you return to the Sites and other clickstream data.

  • Order fulfillment and to otherwise provide Services to you. We use your information to fulfill your ticket orders. We use your information to fulfill your donation and fundraising requests. We also use your information to process payments. We may also use your information to maintain your account.
  • Communicating with you. We use information to answer questions and respond to feedback. We use your information to provide event support and purchase updates. This includes questions about your orders or job opportunities. We may send you technical notices or security alerts. We use your information to route your queries to the correct
    department. We use your information to notify you about updates to the Sites or Services.
  • Improving products and platforms. We use your information to improve our platforms. This includes customizing their content and design. We use your information to improve our products or your experience. This may include customizing your experience with us. We may use your information to improve and create new services, including through artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other technologies.

This includes when you create an account, place an order, or participate in our fundraisers. It includes when you communicate with us via chat, email or phone. We collect information from social media platforms. We collect information when you apply for a job with us.

We collect information passively. We collect information through tracking tools over time and across different websites and apps. These tools include cookies and pixels. We collect information about you from others. We may collect information from other parties like our affiliates. We may get information from third-party sites or marketing partners. We also get information from our service providers. This includes payment processors and those who support our website. It includes service providers that support our communications and marketing efforts.

WHEN WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION
We may disclose your information to the following:

  • We disclose information to our affiliates. We disclose all categories of information to manage daily operations and pursue our business interests. This includes to complete your orders and process your payments.
  • We share information for cross-contextual behavioral marketing. We will share information noted in the Personal Information We Collect section with partners for cross-contextual behavioral marketing. This includes serving you with content based on your interests and behaviors. For the avoidance of doubt, no donor financial information or activity relating to donations is shared with partners for cross-contextual behavioral advertising purposes.
  • We disclose information to vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf. We may disclose all categories of information with trusted service providers. This includes companies who provide data processing and payment processing services to us. It also includes vendors who help us send communications like emails. We may also share with third parties who perform web hosting, data analytics, or other support on our behalf. This also includes cloud storage, software, and IT service providers. We may also disclose information to fraud prevention services and professional advisors.
  • We disclose information to comply with the law or to protect ourselves. We will transfer all categories of information to respond to a court order or subpoena. We will also disclose in response to a government agency or investigatory body request. This includes to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also disclose this information to investigate potential fraud or to enforce our policies and terms. Additional information for residents of certain jurisdictions: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, and Texas law require that we tell you if we sell personal information with a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. WE COMBINE INFORMATION
We combine information that we have collected from different sources. We also combine information collected across devices. We store your information in the United States. If you live outside of the United States and choose to use our platforms, you understand that it is at your own risk. You also understand that information is sent to the United States. The United States may not afford the same level of protection as laws in your own country.

YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Marketing Choices

You may opt out of receiving marketing emails you receive from us. To do so follow the instructions in the message you receive. You will still receive our transactional and relevant operational communications.

Cookies and Tracking Tools
We collect personal information about users over time and across different websites as permitted by law. We also serve content on our platform or third-party platforms based on your behaviors and interests as permitted by law. We also have vendors that do this. To do this, we use common tracking tools. These may include browser cookies or web beacons. We may also use flash cookies and similar technologies.

  • You can control cookies and tracking tools. Your browser may give you the ability to control cookies or other tracking tools. How you do so depends on the type of tool. Certain browsers can be set to reject browser cookies. If you block cookies, certain features on our Sites may not work. If you block or reject cookies, not all the tracking described here will stop.
  • Our Do Not Track Policy.  Our systems do not recognize browser “Do Not Track” signals, but several of our Service Providers who utilize these cookies on our Site enable you to opt out of targeted advertising practices. You must be able to provide your name and email address or other information sufficient to allow us to identify you. We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

These rights are not absolute. In some situations, we may not be able to process your request. This may include if a legal exception applies. We will let you know when or if a right does not apply to you. If you disagree with our decision, you can contact us as described at the end of this notice. We will not discriminate against you because you exercised your rights.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the EU, you may also take legal action and lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. Nevada residents, you may opt out of the future sale of your information to a third party so that they may license or sell that information. Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, and Texas law require that we tell you if we sell personal information with a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.

We do not do this. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. We also do not sell personal information of minors under the age of 16 for monetary or other valuable consideration.

Third Party Agents
If you are submitting a request on someone else’s behalf, we may ask for additional verification. This may include a signed letter verifying your right to make this request. This may also include providing proof that you are registered with the Secretary of State to act on someone’s behalf or proof of a power of attorney.

INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM CHILDREN AND MINORS
Our Sites are meant for those over 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that your child under 13 has given us information online, you can contact us at our contact information listed below. If we become aware that we have collected or stored personal information from an individual under age 13, we will remove his or her personal information from our files.
